📢 Pausing Collective Rewards for Boltz
Hi everyone,
Quick update on the Boltz campaign within Collective Rewards.
What happened
As many of you may have seen, Boltz announced that a series of AI-assisted attacks over the past few months forced them to sadly suspend their service on August 3rd. No user funds were ever at risk - Boltz is non-custodial - but the losses were significant enough that the original team stepped back. A group of veteran Bitcoiners has since stepped in to take over the project and is working on bringing it back online.
What this means for Collective Rewards
As part of this transition, we're pausing their Collective Rewards campaign for now.
We want to highlight:This isn't a reflection on Boltz or the work the team put in over the years! It's simply the right call while they focus on rebuilding. We've stayed in touch throughout and offered support where we can.
Looking ahead
We're rooting for the new team behind Boltz and would be glad to see the integration return down the line. We'll keep the community posted if anything changes!
