Wesatoshis Card is the first BTC SPV client running on an embedded chip, eliminating the need for a mobile or desktop app.
In addition to the SPV, we operate the most secure layer 2 Rootstock.
With this powerful combination, we utilize RBTC for Lightning payments via Boltz atomic swap exchange.
Additionally, with Wesatoshis Card, you can send RBTC offline if the recipient is online! In the future,
you’ll also be able to perform offline-to-offline transactions between cards when RBTC stackers are nearby.
Mission:
By enabling offline transactions between cards, we are transforming BTC into a globally accepted digital cash currency.
This advancement allows RBTC to be exchanged seamlessly, establishing BTC as the first digital cash system worldwide replacing the FIAT cash/bills.
Current already implemented feature in the Product:
1. Send and receive RBTC
2. Send and receive BTC
3. Peg-in and peg-out from/to BTC/RBTC
4. Pay BOLT11 invoice (Lightning via Boltz)==Full custody of your keys, all the way to the payment
5. Firmware update via SD card or the internet
6. Toggle card view between USD and R/BTC format
7. Add friends to the card, allowing RBTC to be sent to someone by their name/nickname
8. Perform a hard reset on the card
9. Restore wallet
10. Send RBTC tips, both predefined (1337, 2000, 5000, 10k sats) and custom amounts
11. Track peg-in and peg-out transactions in real time
12. Execute RBF (Replace-By-Fee) on peg-in transactions
13 All the above function without
the need for central server – Wesatoshis Card functions as long as the Bitcoin network is operational
14 additional DeFi tools will be introduced when the time is right and based on user demand.
Progress:
The hardware has been designed and assembled, while the firmware has been in development
and undergoing QA for the past 3 years.
It has now been sent to beta testers for evaluation on the testnet and later preparing the mainnet launch.
Roadmap:
Producing more cards and expanding the beta tester group to include more members,
while simultaneously designing better and sleeker cases for the cards.
Gather feedback on card usage and apply the necessary changes to the hardware/firmware.
