Dear Rootstock Governance Community,

I am Luka, and I am thrilled to submit a proposal that aligns with our shared vision of enhancing user experience and fostering greater participation within the Rootstock ecosystem.

I am part of the PillarX team, where we are building innovative Web3 tools, including modular account abstraction for seamless digital wallet experiences.

The attached proposal outlines an initiative to integrate a Gas-less Staking App for RIF (Rootstock Infrastructure Framework) into the PillarX ecosystem. This project aims to address current user experience challenges in staking RIF tokens, such as the need for RBTC to pay gas fees, by leveraging the Arka Paymaster to sponsor staking transactions.

Highlights of the Proposal:

  1. Improved User Flow: By eliminating gas fees, the new flow simplifies staking, reducing friction for both current and new users.
  2. Enhanced Ecosystem Participation: Sponsoring transactions removes barriers, encouraging broader user adoption and network engagement.
  3. Development Costs: The total funding required is $3,990, which includes development, testing, and initial gas fee sponsorship for 1,000 transactions.
  4. Ongoing Support: Rootstock DAO can ensure the sustainability of this initiative by maintaining sufficient funds in the paymaster deposit address.

Great product! Wonder if this could be achieved instead with RIF Relay - an existing RIF-based account abstraction technology?
