New Delegate Compensation scheme

Hey delegates, I wanted to circle back to this meta governance topic of delegate compensation. We’ve been seeing a decrease in grantees, and I think delegates could help to identify and bring new grantees into The Collective.

That said, there needs to be a structure in place to align incentives for delegates to do so. Which is why I am posting this comment in the delegate compensation thread. I think delegates could be rewarded for bringing in qualified grantees, with perhaps a tiered comp structure based on grantee performance based on their FES.

Circling back to this thread about Additional Delegate Contributions, the high impact contribution lanes for delegats highlight the following activities: liquidity intros, strategic intros, marketing, events + RIF adoption, and content. Onboarding new grantees is not included, however now with the benefit of hindsight, it seems like it should be, as this is an imminent problem in The Collective. I would rank liquidity intros & strategic intros as the next highest priority items for delegates to help with.

If we reach consensus that bringing in new grantees should be a priority for delegates then the next step would be to create a proper structure for doing so and embedding it into the new delegate compensation mechanics.

Eager to hear thoughts.
