Description:

Memora is a Bitcoin inheritance platform built on Rootstock. It enables users to create NFT Time Capsules that automate BTC transfers based on life events. The platform integrates AI monitoring using social media information to trigger these life events.

Mission:

Memora’s mission is to revolutionize digital inheritance through blockchain by enabling secure, automated Bitcoin transfers. Leveraging Rootstock’s smart contracts, Memora aligns BTC distribution with life events, ensuring private and seamless asset transfer.

Product:

Memora’s core product is NFT Time Capsules, which let users set conditional triggers for BTC transfers based on life events (e.g., birthdays, marriages, or future deaths). The platform incorporates:

AI agents for event monitoring

Social login for seamless onboarding

Rootstock Name Service (RNS) for simplified address resolution

Team:

João Santos: First engineer at Power Dot, a company valued at $1B. João has launched two successful startups, demonstrating his capability in scaling tech ventures.

Chanchal Delson: A sniper Software Engineer with extensive experience in web3 development, bringing technical expertise in decentralized solutions.

Progress:

Since winning ETHGlobal Singapore, Memora has launched its MVP on the testnet. Key achievements include:

• Development of smart contracts for BTC transfers

• Initial AI monitoring integration

• Deployment of a user-friendly interface

Our next steps focus on implementing simple use cases to start onboarding users.

Roadmap:

In the coming months, we plan to:

• Expand AI-driven use cases for digital inheritance

• Integrate RBTC-to-BTC bridge functionalities

• Onboard at least 500 new users

• Implement a monetization strategy and foster a user community

Conclusion:

Memora is aligned with Rootstock’s vision of boosting BTC utility. By simplifying digital inheritance through automation. We believe that we can benefit a lot from the BTC community since one of the BTC strengths is the store of value.

Amazing - great to see Memora’s journey from winning at the Hackathon in Singapore to joining the DAO community!

One request: Could you add this to the Grants & Incentives (Grants & Incentives) page instead of general please?

Looking forward to the on-chain proposal!

Hey @joaointech, great project. I don’t use social media. What else could be used as triggers when -for example- I’d die and would want my assets to be transferred to someone else? Thanks!

Hello @tfp thanks for the very pertinent question. If social media isn’t an option, we can explore more manual methods to set up triggers. For example, we could schedule periodic check-ins where you fill in specific information depending on the use case, or we could integrate a service like Twilio to send you SMS or make calls at regular intervals to verify your status. These approaches could help ensure that asset transfers are initiated based on reliable triggers.

Let me know if you have other ideas in mind. We’re open to exploring different options!
