Axia Network Delegate Thread

[Revised Scope] RelayDevKit - Milestone 1

Voted AGAINST this proposal for potential security concerns.

[Revised Scope] RelayDevKit - Milestone 1

Voted AGAINST this proposal. It was submitted onchain before the vote even concluded for the initial proposal.

Blockscout Global Wallet - Milestone 2

Voted FOR the Milestone 2 payout. Blockscout has successfully delivered on its Milestone 2 commitments, meeting key deliverables and KPIs across engagement and retention metrics. The team has demonstrated commendable transparency in communicating the challenges they encountered throughout this milestone.

Their collaborative approach with the DAO continues to stand out — in Milestone 1, they proactively negotiated a reduced budget, and in Milestone 2, the payout has again been adjusted from $8,000 down to $3,500 to account for gas sponsorship delays. This kind of accountability and good-faith engagement with the DAO is worth recognizing.

Looking ahead to Milestone 3, I hope the team is able to resolve the gas sponsorship situation and expand their integration partnerships to drive broader adoption.

[RootstockCollective Ambassador Proposal] Renewal Proposal – Multi-Ambassador Extension M1 & M2

I voted Against the current proposal. While I appreciate the work done by Karan and Kath — both have consistently delivered strong performance and earned the maximum monthly compensation — I believe the program needs some improvements before renewal.I’d like to see monthly rewards more clearly tied to measurable outcomes, higher engagement targets (e.g. growing likes and reach on content), and better collaboration with delegates so we can help amplify the content and events.I support extending the ambassador program, but not in its current form. Happy to vote in favor once these points are addressed in a revised proposal.

[Grant 0705] Recognized Delegate Compensation - April 2026

Voted FOR this proposal to make delegate compensation payments to the delegates who qualified in March. I am supportive of this program as it strengthens governance by rewarding delegates who make consistent and meaningful contributions.

RBTC Onboarding EventKit

Voted ABSTAIN. The underlying problem seems real, and I appreciate @Crackdevs responsiveness to delegate feedback. The proposal has improved: the Rootstock-specific implementation concern appears to have been addressed, the milestones are clearer, and there are now public validation comments from external product teams including Pistachio, Deserialize, and PouchSwap.

My hesitation is that the demand signal still feels early. For a developer tooling/infrastructure grant, I’d like to see validation move beyond “open to reviewing/testing” and closer to committed usage, a pilot, or a named integration path from teams likely to adopt the package after release.

I see the potential value of this developer tooling project, but I’d prefer to evaluate it again under the updated grants process with a stronger demand-validation package attached.

[2510] Grant Proposal - Self Sovereign Identity (SSI) sandbox rootstock integration, maturity and al

Voted AGAINST. This proposal has an administrative technicality in the dApp’s UI. The Rootstock team will be pushing a fix soon so that the proposal author can resubmit their proposal.

[2508 Grant] M4 Infrastructure Ventures Path to Ecosystem Growth;Milestone 4 – Acceleration Phase 3: Growth & Funding

Voted AGAINST. Although I understand that it is a tough market right now, the proposal has meaningfully shifted from what delegates were evaluating earlier.

At the M2 stage, the signed/onboarded cohort was Peach Bitcoin, Cyclo, Caddy Finance, and Blockroll. Shortly after that, Francisco noted that Cyclo and Caddy Finance were expected to be the primary candidates/drivers for the final TVL and ecosystem goals. That made sense to me at the time: those were more clearly DeFi / BTCFi-oriented integrations with a plausible path to meaningful Rootstock liquidity or usage.

But in the current tracking sheet, the actual live deployments are only Peach Bitcoin and Superstake. Caddy Finance, Cyclo, Blockroll, and Tipper are now marked as dropped. That is a pretty large change in the substance of the program and therefore difficult to justify the 15k funding request.

Self Sovereign Identity (SSI) sandbox rootstock integration, maturity and alpha launch

Voted FOR this proposal. The proposal was previously defeated due to an administrative technicality. Now that it has been addressed and the proposal is resubmitted, I voted in support.

Recognized Delegate Compensation - June 2026

Voted For this proposal to distribute 3,750 RIF for June’s delegate compensation. As shared in this thread, I would like to see this program evolve from rewarding activity towards rewarding authentic participation and contribution.

Update OpenOcean Builder Reward Receiver Address

Voted ABSTAIN on this proposal. Out of an abundance of caution, I would like The Foundation to verify that this is an approved change and that it should go through governance.

[2508 Grant Milestone 3] Winks.fun: On-chain actions on Rootstock within Twitter

Voted AGAINST on this proposal. The concept is interesting, and I can see the potential value for Rootstock if it works reliably. But given the issues with prior examples, the admitted domain reputation problem, and the lack of clear attribution between the X-rendered Wink and the transaction flow, the prudent decision is to not fund M3 until the team can demonstrate the flagged issues have been resolved.

[2606 Builder Activation] Stelios & Mick (Geyser Team)

There is no direct grant request here, but Builder Activation still has an opportunity cost because of the mechanics of Collective Rewards. For that reason, Axia evaluates this based on whether the team has produced measurable Rootstock-specific activity and whether the work is likely to add value to the broader ecosystem.

On that basis, this application is credible. Stelios and Mick have already shipped All-or-Nothing and Prism fundraising primitives on Rootstock, with production usage through Geyser and measurable onchain activity. The Rootstock-specific numbers are still early, but they show real usage rather than only planned work.

Axia also likes that the proposal frames the work as open-source fundraising infrastructure, not just funding Geyser operations. Bitcoin-native fundraising is a strong fit for Rootstock, and reusable tools for campaign creation, contributions, goal validation, and fund release could support more builders and communities over time.

The main thing Axia will watch is whether future Collective Rewards are justified by continued Rootstock-specific usage and whether the primitives see adoption beyond Geyser. Since rewards participation can dilute the pool for other builders, the bar should be measurable ecosystem value, not general reputation or total Geyser activity outside Rootstock.

Blockscout Global Wallet - M3 Final Milestone

Axia voted FOR the final M3 payout.

The ask has been reduced to $1,000, and Blockscout has been transparent about what worked and what did not. The team delivered the standalone wallet, SDK, explorer integration, fiat on/off-ramp, gas sponsorship infrastructure, usage reporting, and a final pilot report. They also reduced the total grant request from the originally authorized $20,000 to $9,250, which reflects good faith given the lower-than-expected adoption and removal of unused gas sponsorship costs.

That said, Axia does not view the pilot as validation for ongoing DAO-funded support at this stage. The wallet works, but dApp integration remains limited, gas sponsorship produced almost no usage, and user activity appears to have been campaign-driven rather than sustained.

Before the DAO considers any continuation, Axia would want to see a clearer adoption plan, stronger dApp commitments, channel-level attribution, and a defined stop/continue threshold tied to retained users or meaningful onchain activity.

For this vote, Axia supports closing out the pilot with the reduced M3 payment, but would not support ongoing funding without a materially stronger continuation case.

[Grant 0708] Recognized Delegate Compensation - July 2026

Voted FOR this proposal to make delegate compensation payments to the delegates who qualified in July.

DZap — One-Click RIF Staking on Rootstock

Voted AGAINST this proposal as it requests 1,350 rBTC instead of 1,350 USDRIF.

SwaptoX Aggregator – Milestone3

Voted FOR.

Axia supports releasing the final M3 funding in light of the progress delivered since the July review and the now-defined revised M3 scope.

This vote does not treat M2 as formally closed. The final reconciliation of M2 deliverables, deferred items, and remaining security/testing requirements should be completed before M2 closure. Audit funding and verification of the final governance deployment should remain separate decisions.
