Team
Proxy (prev. Boardroom) is a team that consists of DAO governance professionals. With years of experience building governance infrastructure and tools for decentralized organizations, we’re passionate about fostering robust and transparent governance systems. Kevin’s background as the founder of Boardroom gives him a unique perspective on the technical and community aspects of decentralized governance. One of our main focuses lies in helping to identify areas where governance processes are slowing down decision-making and offering practical solutions to streamline them. We aim to provide the collective with data-driven insights and remain transparent with our thought processes.
Core Values
- Commitment to Transparency: We emphasize open communication and will provide the Rootstock community with clear updates on our rationale for each governance action.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: We bring a robust data-centric approach to our role, drawing insights from our experience with governance metrics to evaluate proposals thoroughly and responsibly.
- Community: A protocol is only as strong as its community. We’ve seen how confusing governance processes and lack of clear communication can leave people feeling disconnected. Our goal is to help make governance easier to understand and more accessible for everyone, not just big players. We believe that if we make things clearer and reduce barriers to entry, more people will actually get involved, and the protocol will benefit from a wider range of perspectives.
