RC V13.0 Release Note

Summary

TL;DR: The Rootstock Collective Foundation is pleased to announce V13.0, a release that brings support directly into the dApp with a new in-app support modal, protected end-to-end by a privacy-friendly captcha and a hardened server-side endpoint. Building on V12.0 — which rolled out product-wide analytics instrumentation and strengthened session security — V13.0 focuses on giving users a fast, safe way to reach the team without leaving the app, while keeping that new surface resilient against spam and abuse. Community Benefits

In-app support, right from the sidebar — V13.0 adds a Support button to both the desktop and mobile sidebars that opens a support modal. Users pick a topic (Connecting my wallet, Staking, Proposals, Rewards, or Other), describe their issue, and optionally leave an email for follow-up. Each submission is assigned a ticket reference (e.g. SUP-XXXXXXXX) and delivered straight to the Foundation’s support channel — no more leaving the dApp to ask for help.

Bot and spam protection — Every support submission is verified with a privacy-friendly captcha, before it reaches the team. This keeps the support channel free of automated spam and abuse while staying frictionless for real users.

Analytics tooling kept current — The posthog-js and posthog-node dependencies were upgraded to their latest versions, keeping the failure-event instrumentation introduced in V12.0 current, reliable, and secure.
