Summary
TL;DR: RootstockCollective Foundation has been working hard on an enhanced and updated app for the Community! A new version of the user interface is being released today and will be immediately available for everyone in the community.
Important updates have been made to the proposals, communities, and wallet connection features.
Building on the successful Minimum Viable Product (MVP) launch of the RootstockCollective in September, the new version of the dApp RootstockCollective (RC) V1.1 will provide better User Experience for all contributors to the Collective.
To update to the latest version simply refresh your browser or navigate now to app.rootstockcollective.xyz !
Community Benefits
- Improved Proposals User Experience - the proposals screen has been updated to better reflect all on chain proposals. It’s now possible to see at a glance how many votes are required to reach the Quorum target and how close to this target each proposal is, together with the time that remains to vote…
- New Communities are coming soon! Three new badges are added to the Communities section in preparation for the launch of the new exciting Badge programme. This will kickoff with three OG Founder communities with even more to come following a community vote…
- Accessibility & Enhanced Wallet Feedback - the general look and feel of the app has been improved to contrast the menu and table headings to make it easier on the eyes for all Collective Contributors, and Wallet Connection issues will start to be reported in the landing page screen which will be further enhanced in future releases.
- Other Fixes - a number of improvements have also been made: some highlights including removal of the voting limit amount. Now all community contributors can vote no matter the size of the stake. The refresh interval on the proposals screen to the services layer has been increased to avoid rate limiting on the back end services infrastructure. Staking and unstaking amount conversions were sometimes being rounded and this has also been fixed.
