RC V3.2 Release Note
Summary
TL;DR: The RootstockCollective Foundation is excited to announce a new version of the user interface, now available to everyone in the community!
Building on the success of RC V3.1, which introduced Annual Backers Incentive % (ABI %), the Vanguard and BetaBuilders NFTs, and the proposal sorting, this update delivers more important UX enhancements. It is now easier to find and vote on proposals, cheaper in terms of Gas when adjusting your allocation in Collective Rewards, and changes in the Backer Rewards % are displayed to enhance your rewards visibility. We also introduce usage analytics so we can help support the Community more effectively!

- As we now have many screens full of proposals we have added pagination which means you can choose to only see the most recent proposals and still go back in the history if you need to!
- When you find a proposal and you need to find out more we have made it easy to navigate to the long form proposal in our Forum on Discourse, by adding clickable links
- To ensure we can respond to your needs we have added Google Tag Manager usage analytics so we can see which screens are being used in the dApp so we can make the dApp user experience even better for you in the future!
- We are giving more meaningful feedback when things go wrong - we’ve added some more specific Exception Handling for NFT minting and also for proposal execution.
- We’ve made it easier to find out how to Get RIF in the left hand menu so you can interact with the Collective…
- We continue to make optimisations on gas fees so that allocating your stRIF to Builders in Collective Rewards is more cost-effective…
- With this update gas fees are calculated based on the number of Builders you allocate to. Previously, the gas fees were the same as if you were allocating to all Builders, regardless of your actual selection. This optimization ensures a fairer and more efficient use of your resources, making every allocation count.
- Changes to the Backer Rewards % are made easy to track in the Leaderboard giving you clearer insights into the portion of rewards the Builder is sharing…
- Previously, in some cases, only the new % was shown, leaving gaps in visibility. Now, you’ll always see both the current % and the new % side-by-side, ensuring full transparency until the updated % takes effect. This improvement helps you stay fully informed and confident in your decisions.
Please note that future activation dates for NFT badges are provided as a guide only - exact dates and conditions for the boosters will be published closer to the time, and are subject to change.
