Introduce USD Vault (Sandbox Mode) in the RootstockCollective dApp
Vote: For
Rationale:
This proposal introduces a low-risk ERC-4626 vault prototype that strengthens USDRIF infrastructure on Rootstock and enables safe testing of yield integrations within capped limits. The DAO is not taking on operational responsibility, the cost is negligible, and the addition of a standardized vault primitive benefits the broader ecosystem.
[2507 Grant Proposal] Rootstock QuestHub – Milestone 4 Funding
Vote: Against
Rationale:
I appreciate the team’s work and responsiveness, and I understand the intention behind offering the platform in two languages, which adds value even if some inconsistencies slipped through. That said, there are still a few language and UX issues visible in the platform.
The best approach is to finish polishing Milestone 3 before moving into the marketing phase, so new users have a smooth first experience once the platform goes live.
Once the remaining M3 items are fully resolved, I’ll be happy to support M4.
[2508 Grant] M2 Infrastructure Ventures – Path to Ecosystem Growth
Vote: FOR
Milestone 1 deliverables were completed as agreed, and the team has shown strong execution and responsiveness to governance feedback. Milestone 2 focuses on validation and structured onboarding, which is a necessary gating step to protect DAO capital. Releasing this milestone is a reasonable next step, with continued funding remaining contingent on measurable progress.

Recognized Delegate Compensation – December 2025
Vote: For
Rationale:
This proposal continues the Recognized Delegate Compensation program, rewarding active delegates who consistently vote and contribute to governance.
[2507 Grant Proposal] Rootstock QuestHub – Milestone 4
Vote: FOR
Rationale:
The main blockers that led to the initial rejection (UX issues, translations, broken flows) have been addressed, and recent re-reviews confirm the platform is ready to move to production. Milestone 4 is limited in scope and budget ($4k) and focuses on launch and marketing, which is appropriate at this stage.
[2512 Grant 1] RootStock Global Wallet by Blockscout – Milestone 1
Vote: For
Rationale:
Milestone 1 has been re-scoped following delegate feedback and is now limited in size, clearly budgeted, and focused on concrete, verifiable deliverables (standalone wallet and SDK). The team incorporated cost reductions and subsidized part of the work, which lowers execution risk at this stage. Releasing this milestone is reasonable as a bounded test, while keeping later milestones subject to strict KPI review and separate approval.
Proposal: [2601 Grant] SwaptoX Aggregator – Milestone 1
Vote: Against
Rationale:
The proposal was brought on-chain before the grantee completed KYC, which is a mandatory requirement in the Grant Guidelines. Even if the process is currently ongoing, proposals should only proceed on-chain once all required checks are completed, to preserve process integrity.
Beyond process concerns, Milestone 1 still lacks sufficient publicly verifiable evidence to justify funding DeFi infrastructure at this stage. Key aspects such as verified Rootstock deployments, security considerations, usage metrics, and clear differentiation versus existing swap aggregation solutions on Rootstock remain unclear.
I would be open to reconsidering Milestone 1 once KYC is fully completed and the above items are made publicly verifiable.
Proposal: [2510] Grant Proposal – Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) Sandbox Rootstock Integration — Milestone 2
Vote: Against
Rationale:
There is an inconsistency between the amount requested on-chain ($12.5k) and the latest forum update ($11.5k with a different cost breakdown), indicating weak financial coherence for a milestone-based grant. In addition, one of the team members previously had a grant approved, for which no updates have been provided since approval. Clarifying the budget and improving reporting discipline should precede any further fund release.
Proposal: [2601 Grant] Loan interest return to boost bitcoin-backed circular economies – Milestone 1
Vote: Against
Rationale:
This proposal is directionally well aligned with Rootstock’s mission and highlights a compelling real-world use case for bitcoin-backed DeFi via Tropykus. The underlying idea has merit and strong narrative fit.
However, at the time of this milestone vote, there are still unresolved execution risks. In particular, subsidizing borrow interest while USDRIF liquidity is already highly utilized could introduce incentive distortions and negatively affect existing users. Additionally, key operational details around liquidity guardrails and the interest-return mechanism remain underspecified.
Proposal: [Grant 2602] Recognized Delegate Compensation – January 2026
Vote: For
Rationale:
This proposal fairly rewards consistent, high-quality delegate participation and reinforces accountability and sustained governance engagement, which are critical for Rootstock’s decentralization and long-term health.

[2508 Grant Proposal] All-or-Nothing Crowdfunding with Rootstock — Milestone 3
Vote: For
Rationale
Milestones 1 and 2 were delivered and resulted in a working AON flow live on Rootstock and integrated into Geyser, with real campaigns already running. At this point, focusing Milestone 3 on distribution and adoption makes sense.
The +$2k increase for M3 feels reasonable given the traction already seen and the fact that this is the final milestone, aimed at turning a shipped product into something people actually use.

An important update: StableLab governance operations will evolve.
We entered the governance space in 2021. Since then, we have served as a delegate in major DAOs — from 1inch and Aave to Uniswap and ZKSync. Doo Wan Nam and Gustav Arentoft, former MakerDAO growth team members, founded the effort that grew into a team of 32 across product, analytics, and governance, supporting more than 50 DAOs in the process.
The governance team now becomes independent. Raphael Spannocchi (Head of Governance), Kenechukwu Eze (Protocol Specialist), and Kaf Fernandez (Protocol Analyst) have launched Anode.GG — GG standing for Good Governance.
These three will continue the same governance work under the Anode name, with Doo Wan Nam remaining available as an advisor.
Anode.GG will take over voting responsibilities for 0x4f62c4228f50875A2f3BE0921c4C2c41029A8BAe.
Kindly refer to the new Anode delegate profile and thread for all future updates and voting rationales:
Anode Delegate Thread
Raphael, Kene, and Kaf were instrumental in building StableLab Governance into what it has become. We expect delegations to continue being served with the same professionalism and rigor. For full transparency, any delegator who prefers to withdraw may of course do so.
We thank everyone who entrusted us with their voting power on Rootstock Collective. We encourage you to keep your delegation in the capable hands of Anode.GG as your representative.
