Thank you for the detailed review and for acknowledging the completion of Milestone 2. We appreciate the structured feedback.
To address your points and provide a look at what’s coming next:
Documentation Progress: We are currently finalizing the complete documentation for all companies. Our goal is to ensure the same level of transparency you saw with Blockroll is applied across the board. We agree that the “lite” summaries (mentorship, treasury, and feasibility) are a great way to strengthen the portfolio view, and we’re working to make those available shortly.
Primary Candidates & TVL: As we move toward our final TVL goals and ecosystem engagement, we are looking closely at Cyclo and Caddy Finance. These two companies are expected to be the primary drivers in helping us achieve those targets.
Deployment Timeline: Regarding mainnet deployments, the process is moving forward steadily. As noted on the dashboard, we are currently targeting an late February or March.
We’re excited to keep this pace up and will continue to share these updates as the companies hit their next technical strides.
I’ve reviewed the documentation and appreciate the level of detail provided for M1 and M2 — it’s a testament to the effort and coordination required to reach the 6-month goal of 2–4 projects reaching ≥$500K combined TVL and the RIF ecosystem metrics.
One small suggestion for consideration: since the M2 dashboard is already set up, would it be possible to add columns to track completion status of Treasury Strategy Development and Technical Feasibility Validation? Having those visible in the dashboard could make M2 tracking more straightforward and reduce the need to check the Evaluation Documents Folder and then each individual project folder for document updates within the Deliverables Folder.
Also, when you have a moment, could you please review the LOI for Cyclo One? It appears to be unsigned.
Thanks again for the continued transparency and thorough updates.
We have voted in favor of the Milestone 3 proposal, as the overall direction of the program appears constructive.
However, we were disappointed to see the M3 proposal submitted onchain before we could review the full set of Milestone 2 deliverables.
Prior to submission, only Blockroll’s documentation was shared. Artifacts for the other three projects were not provided, which limited our ability to assess M2 execution.
Also, while PRDs for Peach and Caddy were provided per @Axia’s request, we do not consider PRDs alone to be “validation” unless they are explicitly framed as such and backed by the promised evidence.
Please share the remaining Milestone 2 materials at your earliest convenience in addition to the requested items from @DAOstar_gov.
Hi @DAOstar_gov ,
Thank you for the feedback.
We’ve listened to your suggestions and updated the M2 dashboard.
You’re correct, Cyclo’s LOI has an error, and we’re working to correct it asap.
We’ve continuously worked on the documentation and expect to keep sharing new updates on this in the next few weeks. As you know transparancy is very important for us, and we’ll make sure all documentation is made available as soon as possible. To date, we have the following documentation:
PRDs - Peach Bitcoin; Caddy Finance; Cyclo; and Blockroll
Technical Validation - Cyclo; and Blockroll
Treasury Strategy - Blockroll.
Live Info - M2 dashboard
I’ll tag you on the next updates to make sure we’re aligned.
[Introduction] Boosting Bitcoin DeFi: Welcoming Caddy, Cyclo, Blockroll, and Peach Bitcoin to Rootstock
Hello Community,
As part of our ongoing commitment to expanding the Rootstock DeFi and payment ecosystem, we are thrilled to formally introduce four high-impact projects that have recently joined our pipeline. These builders bring diverse use cases, from institutional BTC yield to P2P marketplaces and African fintech, all secured by the power of Bitcoin.
Here is a brief overview of these new members:
Caddy Finance
Core Use Case: Caddy builds institutional-grade Bitcoin yield vaults. They aggregate BTC and deploy it into structured RWA (Real World Asset) and DeFi strategies.
Value to Rootstock: Caddy brings significant institutional liquidity. With a current mandate of over $100M, they aim to boost Rootstock’s TVL by deploying BTC-native vaults on our sidechain.
Status: Currently live on Testnet.
X: caddyficaddyfi
Cyclo
Core Use Case: A non-custodial, liquidation-free leverage protocol. Users can mint “cyTokens” against collateral (like rBTC) to gain leverage exposure without the risk of forced liquidations by bots.
Value to Rootstock: Cyclo provides a unique DeFi primitive that differentiates Rootstock from traditional money markets, driving trading volume and offering rBTC holders a safer way to utilize their assets.
Status: In the process of expanding from Flare/Arbitrum to Rootstock.
X: cyclofinance
Blockroll
Core Use Case: A stablecoin-powered banking and payroll platform designed for African freelancers and SMEs.
Value to Rootstock: Blockroll is seeking a Bitcoin-secured treasury layer. By integrating Rootstock, they will use our network as the settlement and savings backend for cross-border payments across Africa, showcasing Rootstock’s real-world utility in emerging markets.
Status: Integrating Rootstock for their upcoming B2B treasury produc@BlockrollApp.
X: BlockrollApp
Peach Bitcoin
Core Use Case: A leading non-KYC, P2P marketplace for buying and selling Bitcoin.
Value to Rootstock: Peach has integrated Rootstock (DoC and USDT) as a primary payment rail. This allows users to buy/sell BTC directly using Bitcoin-backed stables, turning Peach into a critical, privacy-focused gateway for the Rootstock ecosystem.
Status: Live on Mainnet. Users can already select Rootstock-based assets as a p@peachbitcoinyment method.
X: peachbitcoin
Next Steps:
We are working closely with these teams to ensure successful deployments and community alignment. You will see more updates as they hit their respective milestones. We invite the community to check out their websites and follow their progress as we build the most robust DeFi layer on Bitcoin.
Milestone Update: Caddy Finance is now Live on Rootstock Testnet!
We are excited to announce that Caddy Finance has officially reached its first technical milestone on Rootstock. Their yield vault infrastructure is now deployed on the Testnet for final testing and integration.
This deployment marks a significant step toward bringing institutional-grade BTC yield vaults to the Rootstock Mainnet. Feel free to track their progress on-chain as they move toward their full launch!
Thanks for the update! We have two question/request.
Would you be able to add links to X and each app page?
For Caddy, we haven’t been able to verify if their testnet is available on their page: https://testnet.caddy.finance/. Would you confirm when we can check it?
