Just wanted to add our rationale for supporting this proposal, since it may be missed from our delegate thread.

I reiterate that with my recent experience engaging with more intent with local web3 community in events and chat groups to talk about Rootstock, I’m noticing we have a long ways to go in terms of awareness, brand recognition, and marketshare.
I think growth initiatives cannot be measured only through short term metrics, instead we might need to value more effort and initiatives as well.
We are not Solana. Any growth initiative from a top tier blockchain, capitalizes in that estalished awareness and can/should be measured in outcome.
Unfortunately my experience has been that a blockchain with low brand awareness first needs to build that up, before growth initiatives are trully fruitful short-term. There’s a chasm to be overcome. How do we build towards bridging that chasm?
I highly incentivize other delegates to experiment with this. Go out there, engage with your local web3 community, try to bring builders, projects, users, BTC holders and RIF staking. take note of the challenges, get a feel for what is the bottleneck. Then let’s discuss and ideate.

This was not a trivial decision. The concerns raised by other delegates around KPI quality and the weight assigned to staking conversion are legitimate, and we share them in principle. Two considerations tipped us toward supporting the extension.

First, judging an ambassador program primarily through staking conversion underweights what these roles actually produce. Both ambassadors delivered consistent content output, ran local activations, and brought hundreds of people into direct contact with Rootstock through universities, meetups, and Spaces. Retail adoption on a Bitcoin L2 is rarely a quarterly outcome. It compounds through repeated exposure, localized education, and on-the-ground presence that won’t show up in a staking chart for several cycles. Weighting effort and reach alongside short-term financial metrics gives a more honest picture of what this program is meant to do.

Second, a DAO benefits from allowing small focused workflows to operate with some degree of centralized coordination, rather than subjecting every initiative to fully distributed decision-making at every step. @Georgia is actively backing this renewal, has been engaging with delegates to address specific concerns, and has communicated clear plans to tighten the metrics framework for the next cycle. That is enough for us to extend trust here, with the expectation that the next reporting cycle reflects those improvements.
