[2510 RootstockCollective Ambassador Proposal] Renewal Proposal 1-Year Extension

1. Overview

Following the successful 3-month trial phase of the RootstockCollective Ambassador Program, this proposal seeks DAO approval to extend the engagement of the current ambassadors - Kathleen Garcia and Max Goyheneche - for an additional 12 months.

:warning: Important Note:

This proposal is not related to Proposal #2509, which refers to a separate ambassador search initiative.

This renewal specifically concerns the continuation of the current ambassadors who have already served during the initial 3-month pilot period and demonstrated significant impact within the Collective.

2. Scope of the Program

The scope, objectives, and operational structure remain consistent with the original design:

Ambassadors will continue to:

  • Create educational and community-driven content.

  • Moderate and engage across Telegram, Discord, and Discourse.

  • Represent RootstockCollective in local and online events.

  • Advocate for the Collective’s governance and ecosystem growth.

  • Duration: 12 months (subject to 6-month performance review)

  • Funding Source: RootstockCollective Treasury

Before proposing the one-year renewal, this section presents the final report for the 3-month pilot phase of the Ambassador Program. It includes proof of payments, deliverables, and qualitative insights from both ambassadors’ contributions.

Both ambassadors showed remarkable dedication and initiative during the pilot phase.

  • Kathleen Garcia fostered active engagement across channels, produced valuable educational content, and maintained an inclusive, supportive community tone.

Their complementary strengths have proven essential for growing the RootstockCollective ecosystem. Renewing their collaboration for another year will ensure continuity, deeper impact, and sustained growth across LATAM.

Well done @Georgia, you clearly put a thorough effort on preparing a detailed report for the community.

Just a minor suggestion, for future reports: while some of the links show the materials created (like the how-to videos or the Notion articles), it’s hard to get a sense on where and how they were used. I couldn’t easily find these materials used in the listed X posts either, or anywhere.
We should make sure not to be creating content just for filing targets, but also looking for the most effective ways to use/share them with strong visibility and utility, and track their results.

Nice job Kathleen and Max! And thank you @Georgia for putting together the report. It looks like the 3-month Pilot was successful! Going forward, it would be great for the ambassadors and the broader Community team to work on increasing the content’s reach. Perhaps coordinated campaigns could be run with Rootstock accounts that have large followings. Happy to strategize — don’t hesitate to reach out!

Thanks @ChronoTrigger and @404Gov for the feedback and thoughtful review.

Noted on improving content tracking and ensuring visibility across community channels. Coordination opportunities with Rootstock accounts can be explored when relevant to campaign objectives.

The renewal will follow a milestone-based structure to maintain accountability and measurable progress:

  • Milestone 1: 6-month review and continuation assessment

  • Milestone 2: Final 6-month completion

Budget allocation:

  • 6,000 USDRIF per ambassador

  • Total Milestone 1 budget: 12,000 USDRIF

This setup ensures continuity while allowing the DAO to evaluate the impact before releasing the second half of the funding.

Thanks for the proposal, @Georgia and we would like to offer our appreciation to Kathleen and Max for their contributions.

We are not necessarily against the extension, but we would like to clarify any updates on the performance criteria approved on the original proposal below:

Related metrics (like how many X posts are created, meetups are organized etc) have been shared but some metrics are completely ignored from the report and not clear for the next iteration of the program. As other delegates pointed out, ideally, those performance metrics should be based on the meaningful performance metrics like the community outreach, engagement and conversions, rather than the number of X posts. With those points clarified, we are happy to support this extension. Thank you!

Thank you for the feedback and for raising these points.

Below is a summary of the performance criteria for the current ambassadors:

  • Repost RootstockCollective’s social media posts: Completed consistently.

  • Publish two blogs per month: Max 6/6, Kath 5/6. Some articles are pending publication as I handle the review and upload process.

  • Publish one video per month: Max 2/3, Kath 4/3 (meaning overachievement for Kath)

  • Host one in-person meet-up bi-monthly: Both completed one each (Max 1/1, Kath 1/1).

  • Initiate three meaningful discussions per week in Discord and Telegram: Both were active and engaged, though “meaningful” can be subjective. For next months, I plan to focus on deepening the ambassadors’ connection with the community and guiding them toward more intentional engagement.

  • Gather and report at least one piece of actionable user feedback per month: Achieved. Both ambassadors provided valuable feedback-from moderation improvements to clarifying internal processes and resources.

  • Maintain a 70% response rate within 24 hours: Fully achieved, with strong performance especially from Kath.

While we began with fixed deliverables, my approach has evolved toward aligning responsibilities with each ambassador’s strengths to ensure more authentic contributions and higher impact.

Thanks for your quick response, Georgia. We understand that most of the performance criteria have been achieved in the last cycle and their responsibilities and actions are flexibly adjusted to achieve more meaningful impact rather than targeting purely action-related metrics!
