Hey @Oluman , congrats on the approval of the proposal. It’s clear that you iterated based on community feedback, which is always a good sign. I wanted to clarify a couple of points before the work begins:
I see the plan includes three meetups, one in Accra, one in Kumasi, and one in Tamale, but it’s not fully clear whether these locations are already confirmed or still tentative. Could you clarify if each city is secured as a venue and whether you’ve already identified the specific spaces?
Regarding the content of the workshops and training sessions, have you defined the structure or modules? In this area, connecting with QuestHub could be a good idea, for use their structured learning paths.
There are also some relevant learnings from other recent Rootstock proposals.
For example, in the Rootstock Ecosystem Roadshow, a challenge was how to measure attendance and interactions in a verifiable way. POAP doesn’t support Rootstock at the moment, but it would be interesting to explore in the future. In the meantime, starting with a simple NFT on Rootstock as a proof of attendance could work well. At the Collective level, we should probably think about a shared standard for tracking this type of educational activity.
Another useful reference is Bitcoin Argentina, where strong social-media presence and documentation were key to demonstrating impact. Do you already have an X/Twitter account for Rootstock Ghana? That would help a lot with visibility and credibility. It might also be helpful to connect with the Rootstock Ambassadors, who are already active in other regions and could support with best practices.
Overall, the initiative is moving in a good direction; now it will be important to observe the execution of the upcoming milestones. Looking forward to the updates.
