Community Benefits
Faster and more reliable rewards data — The Rootstock explorer changed its public API, so the dApp now uses the explorer’s new service. This brings back builder and rewards data that could time out on mainnet. On top of that, backer reward claims, all-time reward totals, builder rewards and the reward distributions in the builders table now come from the Collective’s own indexed data instead of repeated explorer queries. This information loads faster and more consistently. Figures show a loading state while they arrive instead of briefly showing zero, and missing data is never shown as “no rewards”.
Security and quality improvements — The dApp’s connection to the explorer is now more secure: credentials are sent more safely, incoming request parameters are strictly checked, and the rewards data endpoints are rate limited. The release also adds automated test coverage for the new rewards data sources, keeping the dApp accurate and resilient behind the scenes.
