About WakeUp Labs
WakeUp Labs is a software development studio dedicated to advancing decentralized technology and scaling Ethereum and Bitcoin. Since our inception in 2022, we have specialized in delivering advanced development services to EVM-compatible chains, DAOs, and businesses venturing into the blockchain space. Since 2022, WakeUp Labs has been actively contributing to the ecosystem through workshops for developers, both online and in person, attending international conferences, and lending technical expertise to various projects.
Our Goal for Rootstock
WakeUp Labs is dedicated to strengthening Rootstock’s mission of expanding Bitcoin’s impact through real use cases and developer empowerment. Our commitment lies in contributing actively to Rootstock’s governance, bringing both technical expertise and experience in DAO ecosystems. We see this engagement as a natural extension of our work building tools, protocols, and integrations across leading ecosystems, and we’re committed to helping Rootstock grow into a core layer for Bitcoin.
COI Disclosure
WakeUp Labs is a broad organization with high participation in some of the most prominent governances in the ecosystem such as Velora, Optimism, and Arbitrum. As mentioned above we come to Rootstock Governance to bring value, in case there is any conflict of interest, we will communicate it to the community members.
Waiver of Liability
By choosing to delegate to WakeUp Labs within Rootstock governance, delegators understand and accept that WakeUp Labs will engage on a good-faith, best-effort basis. WakeUp Labs shall not be held responsible for any direct or indirect losses, damages, or claims arising from its participation in Rootstock’s governance activities.

Rationale: We vote Against due to the mismatch between the forum milestones and the onchain funding request, as well as the incomplete KYB process.

Rationale: We support decentralized communications and community-led growth. Since day one, mimLABS has been aligned with Rootstock, making this a natural fit.
