Why?
- Rootstock Collective is bootstrapping new partners into the Rootstock Ecosystem.
- The Rootstock Collective community will grow as the Foundation bootstraps the Grants-on-DAO with a Bitcoin Builder-aligned grants series putting builders at the center of the collective.
- The first series will be the Bitcoin Builder Grant in September 2024.
- For the safety of the Community the Grants-on-DAO will require a calibration phase, and as such the first programme Waves will not be introduced via a community vote. Future waves will be submitted for community votes once calibration is complete.
How?
- Grantees get invited to participate in the DAO grants by the Foundation.
- Grants criteria (links): a) building natively in Rootstock, b) past Rootstock grant recipient and c) and adopting RIF and stRIF in their value proposition.
- Grantees submit template grant decks and pitch presentations (e.g., Loom videos) as links in the description box.
- The community votes on grantees. RIF Stakers in the DAO can vote on 10 simple proposals (1-pager pitch).
- 3 days after voting completes 0.0805 RBTC per grantee will be sent for those who meet voting quorum and milestone completion criteria, paid in RBTC (future waves will payout a blend of RIF and RBTC) from the Grants-Active Treasury
