Hi DAO members,
As we wrap up our first wave of Bitcoin Innovator Grants, we wanted to share some thoughts with you. We had nine incredibly compelling and innovative submissions, showcasing the creativity and talent within the Rootstock community. It’s been inspiring to see the enthusiasm around building on Rootstock, and we’re excited about the momentum we’ve generated so far. I’d also like to congratulate Team Asami for successfully passing the quorum level and securing their grant — a testament to their hard work and the strength of their proposal!
For the remaining proposals who did not pass the required quorum, I’m thrilled to announce that all of these amazing projects will be automatically enrolled into the upcoming second wave of Bitcoin Innovator Grant Awards! This means they’ll have another opportunity to shine and engage with our community again.
Our focus now is on ensuring these high-quality projects receive the attention and support they deserve. To make this happen, we’re introducing several initiatives aimed at boosting engagement and building excitement around the second round.
Here’s what we’re rolling out:
1. Galxe Quests & Participation Badges:
To encourage more community involvement, we’ll be launching a set of Galxe Quests and distributing unique participation badges to stakers, voters, and community members who actively support the proposals.
2. Enhanced Promotion for Round Two:
We’ll be increasing visibility for all participants through multiple channels
3. Guides for Project Teams:
We will be creating detailed guides on how teams can better leverage their own communities to build support and rally their networks, making it easier for each project to get the backing they need.
4. Support & Resources:
Alongside the guides, we’ll be offering additional resources to help projects communicate their strengths and connect with the wider Rootstock community.
With over $600,000 in RIF staked in the DAO and strong support from our community, we’re confident that the next round will bring even more participation and excitement. Thank you all for being part of this journey — we’re just getting started!
