TL;DR: The Rootstock Collective Foundation is pleased to announce V6.1, which introduces a new Grant Milestones, payments in USDRIF, and improved Usability.
Building on the success of V6.0 with a cleaner, simpler User Experience and Wallet Connect, this new release introduces USD Grant Payouts in USDRIF and unlocks tranches with Grant Milestones. We also improved the backing experience through better support for percentages.

- USD Payouts for Grants - we’ve introduced the option to payout successful Grants in US Dollars. And the best way to do this is by using one of the native US Dollar stablecoins on in the Rootstock ecosystem USDRIF.
- Grants for all occasions - following the launch of the DAO a number of initial waves of Grants were initiated and the next stage in the evolution is to provide multiple tiers to allow for startup, mainnet outcomes, and growth stages of your project. We will unlock this through the introduction of Milestones…
- Backing Builders is now even easier - we’ve refined the Backing flow to make supporting Builders clearer and more intuitive. The percentage indicator has been updated to now reflect the share of your available stRIF being allocated, rather than the total stRIF balance. This helps you immediately understand how much of your remaining capacity is being used when adjusting backings.
We’ve also made all notifications in the dapp consistent with the industry standard Toaster designs - for the good of the community.
